Re: Gundam Serie TV

Messaggioda Cryolophosaurus ellioti » sab gen 13, 2007 9:51 pm

Ragazzi, siamo andati decisamente OT.

U.C. 0001 With Earth's population at 9 billion, an ambitious space colonization program begins. The calendar is changed to the Universal Century era.
U.C. 0009 Zeon Zum Deikun is born.
* Source: MS ERA 0099.
U.C. 0010 The Jupiter Energy Fleet is reorganized as the Jupiter Development Enterprise Group.
U.C. 0016 The Earth Federation government establishes the Frontier Settlement Transport Bureau.
U.C. 0022 The Earth Federation government declares that war has been eradicated from the surface of the Earth.
* Source: Gundam Officials.
U.C. 0027 Von Braun, the first permanent lunar settlement, is established.
U.C. 0030 The Federation government privatizes the Frontier Settlement Transport Bureau, which becomes the Space Transport Enterprise Group.
U.C. 0034 The Federation government again reorganizes the Space Transport Enterprise Group, forming the Public Corporation of Space Transport (PCST), an independent non-governmental organization.
Construction of Side 2 is completed.
* Source: MS ERA 0099.
U.C. 0035 Construction of Side 3 begins.
U.C. 0040 40% of the human population (roughly 5 billion people) has emigrated to space.
* A later entry in the official timeline claims that 9 billion people, out of a total population of 11 billion, have emigrated to space by U.C. 0050. However, this is contradicted by the opening narration of the Gundam II and Gundam III movies, which state that half of humanity now lives in space.
U.C. 0045 The asteroid Juno, later known as Luna II, is placed in Earth orbit to help with space colony construction.
The Minovsky Physics Society is founded at the Side 3 colony cluster.
U.C. 0046 Zeon Zum Deikun formulates the ideology known as Contolism. Deikun argues that humanity should complete its migration to space, and that the space colonies should be treated as independent nations.
* Source: Gundam Officials. MS ERA 0099 claims that this happens the previous year.
U.C. 0047 Development of the Minovsky-Ionesco fusion reactor begins.
U.C. 0051 The Earth Federation halts construction of new space colonies, and the colonization program is effectively ended.
U.C. 0052 Zeon Zum Deikun moves to Side 3 to spread his ideology of Contolism.
U.C. 0055 The Buch Concern is established.
U.C. 0058 Side 3 declares its independence, and the Republic of Zeon is established. A National Guard is formed.
U.C. 0059 The Federation government applies economic pressure against Side 3.
Casval Rem Deikun, the son of Zeon Deikun, is born.
* Gundam Officials is uncertain whether Casval is born on September 27 or November 17. In either case he'd be just nineteen years old as Mobile Suit Gundam begins, although he's supposed to be twenty at that point.
U.C. 0060 The Federation Forces launch the '60s Armament Reinforcement Project, organizing the Earth Federation Space Force and converting Luna II into a military base.
U.C. 0062 The Zeon National Guard is promoted to the status of a full-fledged military.
U.C. 0062.09.12 Artesia Som Deikun, the daughter of Zeon Deikun, is born.
* Source: Gundam Ace 020.
U.C. 0063.11.04 Amuro Ray is born.
* Source: Gundam Ace 001. Although Amuro is fifteen as Mobile Suit Gundam begins, he has turned sixteen by the time he meets Char Aznable at Side 6's Palda colony.
U.C. 0064 The Federation Forces hold a naval review. The new spaceships developed as part of the Armament Reinforcement Project take center stage.
U.C. 0065 The researchers of the Minovsky Physics Society observe a unique electromagnetic effect within the Minovsky-Ionesco fusion reactor, leading to the discovery of the Minovsky particle.
U.C. 0067 The Federation government rejects a motion for colonial autonomy.
U.C. 0067.01.10 Haman Karn is born.
* Source: Gundam Ace 002.
U.C. 0068 The Buch Concern purchases the name of Europe's Ronah family.
U.C. 0068.10 Zeon Zum Deikun dies under suspicious circumstances, and Degwin Sodo Zabi succeeds him as leader.
* MS ERA 0099 claims that Deikun's death takes place in October of this year.
The political conflict between the followers of Zeon Deikun and Degwin Zabi escalates. Sasro Zabi, Degwin's second son, is assassinated in what appears to be an act of revenge by Deikun's followers.
* Although some sources place the assassination of Sasro closer to the foundation of the Principality of Zeon, Gundam Officials and Gundam The Origin indicate that it closely follows Deikun's death.
U.C. 0069.08.15 Degwin Sodo Zabi declares himself sovereign and establishes the Principality of Zeon.
Zeon Zum Deikun's followers are purged from Side 3. Deikun's children Casval and Artesia are taken to Earth for their protection.
U.C. 0069.10 The Principality of Zeon commissions the first ship of the Papua class.
* According to Gundam Century and Gundam Officials, the Papua was originally designed as a missile cruiser and later converted to a transport ship.

Gihren Zabi proclaims his Survival of the Selected theory.
* This is the English translation used in Gundam Officials. Literally, it's something like Survival of the Superior Race.
U.C. 0072 In the asteroid belt, the Principality of Zeon begins construction of the asteroid base Axis.
The scientist Doctor Minovsky defects from the Principality.

U.C. 0079.12.26 The White Base enters the former Side 5 in pursuit of fleeing Principality forces. A battle begins in and around the Texas colony.
(Mobile Suit Gundam episode 37)

18:04 The Principality of Zeon launches simultaneous attacks on the Federation Forces' Torrington and Charleville bases in Australia.
(Rise from the Ashes)
* The White Dingo team assists in the defense of the Torrington base. According to the Gundam Side Story 0079: Rise From The Ashes novelization, Principality ace pilot Visch Donahue participates in the attack on Charleville.
The Principality's Australian forces begin the evacuation plan codenamed Staircase to the Moon.

"in the year 2045 AD man began his expansion in the space with the construction of self contain settlement called side. A massive colonization of space is following, marking the begun of the actual Universal Century. "

In vecchi testi e negli special "more about the unviersal century" (prima o poi in fansub) viene citato il 2045 come anno di costruzione della prima colonia.
