E' forse questo l'elemento più interessante che possiamo individuare in queste prime ore l'emergere di una nuova organizzazione nello scenerio della Cosmic Era: la DSSD acronimo per Deep Space Survey and Development Organization ovverosia,in una traduzione non ufficiale,la società per la sorveglianza ( o esplorazione) e lo sviluppo dello spazio profondo....gruppo fondato per la esplorazione e lo sviluppo dello spazio intorno a Marte al quale partecipano sia le Plant che le Potenze neutrali ( che non sono costituite dal solo Orb ricordiamolo) che la stessa Earth Alliance.

Non so voi, ma questo mi fa pensare ke un'ambientazione marziana (o cmq lontano dalla Terra) x l'ipotetica terza serie C.E. prenda notevolmente + corpo.

本来は、ごく小さな作品になるはずだったんです。こんな大きな企画になるなんて、俺、聞いてないですよー!(笑)
以前、プラモデルを撮影して、CGと組み合わせて映像にした“プラモーション”というのがありましたが、本来はそれに近いものをつくるという話だったんです。それでMSアクションを中心にすえた、動くジオラマみたいな作品の脚本を提出したら、監督の西澤晋さんが「いや、違うんだ」と。「人間ドラマも入れたいんだよ!」。あれえ、俺が聞いていた話とちょっと違うぞ、と、思っていたら、監督の“やりたいことリスト”がズラッと出てきて……。
西澤さんにはやりたいことがいっぱいあるんですよ。打ち合わせをすると、「あれもやりたい、これもやりたい、そうだそれもやろう!」ちょっと待ってくれえ(笑)。
それだけの要素をどうやって15分に収めたらいいんだ!
「SEED」や「DESTINY」では、かなりハードな死体描写がありましたが、そこをさらに踏み込んで描きたいという要望がありました。具体的には、最初に公開される予定の第一部では、ユニウスセブンが地球に落ちた話をやります。「DESTINY」ではそのシーンは、頭上から流星群が降り注いで、爆発や津波があったというように、マクロな形で描いてました。「それをミクロな視点で描いてくれないか?」というオーダーでした。あの事件をミクロな視点で見ると、これは当然、大惨事。津波が襲ってくる。津波がひいたあとには死の海。死屍累々。(この辺読めない)「そういうのがやりたいんだ」「やりたいのぉ!?」そんなやりとりがありましたね。
西澤さんは「DESTINY」でやりたくて、できなかったことのひとつとして“MSを兵器として描きたい”ということも言ってましたね。TVでは、MSをスーパーロボットとして描いているので、兵器の恐ろしさは描かなかったんですよ。そこで今回は「身長20m弱の巨大な塊が人を襲うときの、襲われる側の怖さを出したいんだ」と。でも、怖いと思わせて、同時にプラモデルが欲しいとも思ってもらわなきゃいけないんですよ(笑)。そのあたりで、どうしたものかと試行錯誤しているところです。
少しSF寄りの作品にしたいねというオーダーもあったんですよ。そこで宇宙開発という要素を組み込んでみました。DSSD(深宇宙探査開発機構)という組織を設定して、MSスターゲイザーはそこでつくられた宇宙探査用MSだ、というふうにしました。主人公のひとりであるセレーネが、パイロットではなくエンジニアなのは、そこからの影響ですね。非武装のMSにかかわるキャラクターなら、軍人でなくともかまわないじゃないかということです。目下、製作中の第1部は、このセレーネとDSSDの物語になります。
――セレーネとはどんな人物なのか
宇宙オタクなんです。DSSDは、火星軌道以遠の探査開発を目的とした組織で、地球連合からもプラントからも距離を置いて中立を保っているんですが、ここのメンバーは宇宙オタクの集まりなんです。地球やら月の周りではドンパチ戦争しているやつらがいるけど、あいつら何がおもしろいんだと思ってる。セレーネはそれよりもっとおもしろいこと、はるか遠くの宇宙に足跡を残すことをずっと夢見ている人なんです。ちなみにセレーネはパイロットとして、MSには乗りません。
スウェンについて
彼は、ファントムペインのパイロットです、。ステラたちエクステンデッドの一世代前の兵士で、薬物による強化はされていなくて、でもロゴスに忠誠を誓っています。本来は臆病な人物なんですが、冷静沈着な仮面(ペルソナ)を植えつけられてしまっている。その仮面をどう壊してやろうかな、というのを考えているところです。
第2部はスウェンを中心にした物語になります。このパートは、当初考えていた、“動くジオラマ”的なところに方向性を探していて、スウェンとファントムペインがいろんな場所で戦う戦闘描写をメインにしていこうかなと考えています。
第一部と第二部は独立したエピソードなんです。この2話でセレーネとスウェン、それぞれの方向性を描き、ラストで、2人を象徴するMS、スターゲイザーとストライクノワールが激突する。その激突の形でもって、2人の方向性のぶつかり合いを描こうというのが(読めない)なんです。
―ロマンスなんかは?
ないでしょう(笑)。
恋愛要素を入れると、そこが中心になってしまいますからね。今回は硬派に行こうと思ってます。
―TVのキャラは?
難しいですね。ゲスト的に出演するのはありかなと思っていて、いろいろ考えてはいるんですが。TVシリーズのキャラは印象が強すぎて、そっちがメインになりかねないんです。ふとした場所で擦れ違うとか、歴史上の人物としてデュランダルの演説シーンがあるとか、そうした出演は比較的簡単ですけれど、重要な役割で登場することはないと思います。
ただ、たとえばスターゲイザーの技術がデスティニーやストライクフリーダム転用されていったとか、そういった(読めない)から感じられるようにはしたいなと思ってます。それとIGLOO第1話を見てすごく感心したんですが、赤いザクからモールス信号でメッセージが届くシーンがあるんですよ。わかる人はすぐに「シャアからだ!」とわかる。そういうしゃれた仕掛けがこの作品でもできないかな、と考えているところなんです。

Comunque da quel poco che si riesce a capire si evince che Sven ha una maschera di durezza addosso, mentre in realtà nascontde una grande paura, la tipa invece é dura e votata unicamente al lavoro e spaventa per i suoi modi di fare così "strani". Per quanto riguarda i mobile suits con lo strike noir e con lo stargazer dicono che vogliono simboleggiare due diverse tipologie di persone e con la caduta dello strike nero (almeno così c'é scritto) vorranno simboleggiare qualcosa di non ben precisato.........comunque é molto interessante l'utilizzo di MS creati apposta epr l'esplorazione spaziale, voglio vederne uno assolutamente.......e il duel e il buster kai? saranno finalmente in mano a Yzak e a Dearka come doveva essere già dall'inizio di destiny? Ci ripongo le mie più vive speranze in attesa che questi mini episodi siano reperibili da qualche parte

da quel poco che si riesce a capire dall'intervista lo Stargazer sarebbe un Mobile Suit concepito per l'esplorazione spaziale.....tanto é vero che in un'immagine del sito di stargazer si vede una piccola ombra nera senza ali (quindi non lo strike Noir) con un'intensissima scia di luce alle sue spalle. Credo che quello sia lo Stargazer.

Se così fosse non sarebbe altro che la solita trovata atta a vendere altri nuovi modellini.....
